Oil Lift Technology Inc. is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of artificial lift systems for the oil and gas industry. Specializing in progressing cavity pump systems, Oil Lift has over 10 field service facilities in Canada, the United States, Australia, Colombia and Oman. The company’s head office and main manufacturing plant is in Calgary, Canada. Oil Lift also has a large manufacturing plant in Brisbane, Australia.

This forward thinking business began operations in 2000 with a gear driven wellhead drive system, featuring a patented, top-mounted, zero-spill stuffing box. This particular product solved a major environmental problem with crude oil leakage at well sites. Since that time, Oil Lift has attracted a substantial engineering group dedicated to the continual research and development of new technologies and products that help to solve some of the industry’s toughest problems safely and cost effectively. Oil Lift holds over 20 patents on its core technologies.

Oil Lift products include wellhead drives, Rod-Lock BOPs©, progressing cavity pumps and remote power units.

Recently, Oil Lift set up operations in Colombia. Oil Lift Technology SAS is also the first facility of its kind in northern Bogota. With a growing team of experienced people dedicated to the Colombian market, Oil Lift can now offer full systems capability to its clientele.

On September 1st, 2011, Dover Corporation (NYSE:DOV) acquired Oil Lift Technology, making it a part of Norris Production Solutions (“NPS”), a group of operating companies that comprise Dover’s artificial lift business. As a Fortune 500 company, Dover has the financial resources to strengthen Oil Lift’s global market presence. This integration also enables Oil Lift to provide more integrated application and technology support for artificial lift customers around the world.
